Key policies; The organisation has a range of key policies available for download. Click on the links to download a PDF of the policies. The Medway Towns Band Constitution; this document sets out the objects and aims of the organisation. Reserves Policy; the Band has agreed to safeguard a working level of funds in the organisation accounts that will always be available to cover the immediate running costs of the band in the event that all income fails. Child Protection Policy; whilst the Band is not a charity working with, or for, children or vulnerable adults, there are members of the Band who are under 18 years of age and the Band takes its responsibilities towards these members extremely seriously. The Child Protection Policy, based on the policy devised by the British Federation of Brass Bands, highlights our policies and practice for ensuring the well-being and safety of those particular members. Equality and Diversity Policy; outlining how the Band ensures equality and diversity towards all its members and in its operations. Library and Loans Policy; how the Band manages its extensive music library. Contributions Policy; the Band is dependent in no small part from contributions from its membership. How these are set and managed is set out in this document. Property Policy; how the Band allocates and manages property that belongs to the organisation. NOT YET AVAILABLE.
